Guideline: Pre-Order Feature to purchase IDO allocation before the sale starts

Typically, the token buying time in a Red Kite's IDO pool is around 9 hours, and then there will be no more sales. If you miss this chance, you will have to purchase this token on another launchpad (if any) or wait for the token to be listed on a DEX or CEX. Meanwhile, those on the whitelist may be unable to purchase tokens during the token buying period for various reasons such as time zone differences.

Recognizing this inconvenience, Red Kite has released the Token Pre-Order Feature to its V2.

What is Token Pre-Order?

Token Pre-Order is a feature where a whitelisted user can place an order and pre-pay for their allocation before the IDO pool is officially open for sale.

The pre-order period begins when users receive their token allocation results and ends when the pool officially opens for sale. Users can choose the number of tokens they want to pre-order, but this amount cannot exceed their maximum allocation. If the pre-order amount is less than their maximum allocation, users can purchase the rest during Phase 1 of the pool’s buying period.

Please note that this feature only helps you to order and prepay for your tokens. When it is token-claimable time, you still need to enter the pool to claim the token to your wallet.

Note: This feature is applied to all IDOs that open for whitelist registration after August 2, 2021 and only for Tier Phoenix accounts.

How to Pre-order a Token?

1️⃣ Step 1: Access the Pre-Order Feature

Choose one of the following ways to access the pre-order feature:

  • Go to the My Pool section in the My Account menu, then click the Pre-order button of the pool you want to pre-order, or
  • Go to Pool Dashboard, then click on the pool you wish to pre-order.

2️⃣ Step 2: Start to order your wanted number of tokens

  • Check your Max Allocation information and the Pre-order time
  • In the Pre-order Tokens area, enter the number of tokens you want to pre-order, then click on the Pre-order button
  • The process is the same as the swap token process (Click here to learn more about swapping tokens)
  • In pools using USDT, USDC, BUST, you will need to Approve once (and only once) before you can start pre-order. You can skip this step if you are in pools using ETH or BNB

3️⃣ Step 3: Check your pre-order information

  • You will see the message “You have successfully pre-ordered the tokens.” in the header of the pool’s detail page
  • You can find the number of pre-ordered tokens and your allocation in the Pre-order tokens and Token Claim areas in the pool’s detail page and on the Pre-order column in the My Pool menu
